Late April Updates

It's finally starting to feel like Spring and though I love cooler weather, I'm welcoming all the natural sunlight!

I've been browsing for clothes for my special lady Muse and I finally decided to get her a dress from Iplehouse. I ordered it last weekend so with EMS it arrived super fast! I took this pictures very quickly, but I think they turned out okay.

I'm Pro-BJD Artists Only

A lot has happened in the past few days on the topic of counterfeit/recasts BJDS and a individual named Luo who has a vindictive agenda to cause serious damage to small and larger BJD artists alike. He is a large Chinese recaster and has registered several companies's trademarks (even their logos) in China and is attempting to do so in Europe and U.S.A. I believe the current list is up to 85+ that he is trying to register. This would give him the power to blackmail the original artists and claim their work as his own. I'm not great at explaining all of this, but  I found out this information from @Puffypuffers and @f15dolls (both on Instagram).

I will also link Musume.Desu blog post which does a wonderfully job summarizing and compiling all of the information gathered together so far.

So in light of this, I feel I need to be 100% clear on my stance. I also wanted to post this to my blog as well since I've stated this on my Instagram and Flickr.

I have always been pro-artist in this hobby and always will be. Also as a artist myself it would be a huge contradiction if I supported counterfeit/recasted dolls. And even if I wasn't an artists, this is wrong. I have listened both sides of this issue for several years and it hasn't gone anywhere. There is no debate. It's art thief no matter how you slice it. I'm very concerned for the future of this hobby and the artists. Their work and livelihoods are being ruined and it deeply hurts me to see other creatives go through this.
